Ambiente S.p.A. is GreenEnergy Holding’s response to the ever-increasing request for a sustainable development relating to collection, transport and disposal of a diversified variety of urban solid waste.

For more than thirty years we have been working with dedication, perseverance and passion to achieve the goal of giving new life to every type of waste. Bulky waste, batteries waste, expired drugs, paper, cardboard, metallic bands and more than twelve different plastic polymers are treated with the help of the most advanced technologies in the industry.

Strengthened by a completely automated selection and recovery of materials from waste submitted to the plant, our ecological platform is one of the most modern in Europe. With latest generation tools and a technical staff unique in Italy. We work for an innovative vision and specific know-how.

Ambiente S.p.A. is fully seated in the logic of "Life Cycle Assessment", a theoretical-operational approach to the management of manmade materials which, by acting directly on their regeneration, aims to prevent them from being superior, in numbers, to the natural disposal capacity of our Planet.

We fully figure among the evolution of the circular economy’s main characters, the best example of "Green Economy", which pursues the complete elimination of waste and, above all, it wants to encourage recycling. This innovative approach has allowed us to reach positions of absolute importance in the industry.

We believe in the importance of raising awareness among present and future citizens about the proper management of domestic waste. For this reason, we have always been in contact with schools and universities, proposing contests and initiatives, lectures, sharing campaigns of our environmental best practices through (for example) guided tours of our plant. Aimed not only at provide basic knowledge useful to every citizen, but also to encourage environmental awareness, linked to Waste Management.

Ambiente S.p.A. is among the founding members of “Fondazione per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile” (Foundation for Sustainable Development), but also a founding member of "Global Compact Network Italy Foundation (UN Global Compact Network Italy) which was created with the primary purpose of contributing to the development in Italy of the UN Global Compact. An initiative for cultural promotion of corporate citizenship managed and promoted on a global scale by the United Nations”.

Finally, to seal the commitment and the results obtained, we got no shortage of certifications and recognitions, including registration on the White List at Turin Prefecture.
